For those of you that are new here, you may not know that my husband and I love Disney. My husband has been going there almost every year with his family since he was about nine years old and it was where we went for the first (and only) big vacation we took together with his family.
The happiest place on earth has played a pretty big role in our lives. We got engaged in front of Cinderella’s castle (with no other people in the picture!), ran our first half marathon through the parks, and we spent our honeymoon at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii, so it was only fitting for us to do a Disney date night at home.
One of our all time favorite things about Disney is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! Most adults think of drinking around the world when they hear “Epcot”, but we love all the different food the festival has to offer! So for our date night at home, rather than going with all things Mickey-shaped, we found recipes to replicate some of our favorite Food and Wine dishes.

Activities
- A Villainous tournament (Mark’s favorite game that definitely makes you think; highly recommend!)
- Watching the Disney Family Sing-a-long & belting out every song at the top of our lungs
- Obviously you won’t always time this perfectly to have a sing-a-long happen on the night you do your Disney date night at home, but there are plenty of other fun options! You can normally find sing-a-longs on Youtube or there should be some on Disney+ if you have it.
If there aren’t any actual sing-a-longs on Disney+ there are definitely sing-a-long versions of some movies on there. A couple I can think of off the top of my head are Frozen, Mary Poppins, and Coco.

We somehow ran out of time to do a photoshoot for this one, but I swear we followed the dress code! I took it a step further and decided to dress up as a Disney group trip leader. Photographic evidence (literally the only picture we took) below.
